Last week...

Better late than never.

Last week, Jbooks and I met for dinner to test out the "best steaks in London". Were they the best? Possibly. Were they the saltiest? Yes.

The restaurant was covered in cow hide and we were so excited to bite into some good Argentinian meat. It's not Albertan beef, but it is pretty good. When we ordered our medium steaks, the waiter brought out a sample plate of cold cuts to explain the different options of steak (sirloin, tenderloin, ribeye, filet, etc.). I was drooling over the raw steaks, something that seemed to not sit right with our waiter. After we saw the size of the medium steak as an example, we decided to upgrade to a larger cut. "Are you sure?", says the waiter. "It's very large." "Yes", say the fat girls. (We actually said, "Uhh..yes. We are BIG meat eaters." We were mift he didn't think we could eat our weight in meat.)

When the large steaks came, they were GINORMOUS! "Gulp", thought the not-so-fat girls. But "I'll show you" said the competitive girls, who wanted to prove themselves to the waiter. So, after a two hour feast of slowly cutting and slowly chewing and quickly sipping, we managed to eat our entire cow...errr...steak. The last 25 minutes of meat eating were only to prove to the waiter we could do it. We showed him.

Oh, yes. We showed him.
